Rise, the leading gender diversity network within the media technology sector, proudly announced the shortlist for the prestigious Rise Awards, set to take place on November 19, 2024, at Troxy in London. In its sixth year, this year’s awards have garnered a wide array of applications from across the globe, underscoring the continued commitment to recognising excellence and diversity in the industry.
The Rise Awards, organised in partnership with Sky and EMG/Gravity Media, aim to celebrate outstanding individuals and organisations that have significantly contributed to the advancement of gender diversity in media technology. This year’s shortlist features an impressive lineup of talented individuals from various countries, including Malaysia, the United States, Canada, Norway, and Australia.
Among the highlights, the coveted Woman of the Year Award will be determined by the Rise Advisory Boards and announced at a later date. Additionally, a Special Recognition Award will honor a woman who has demonstrated exceptional commitment and surpassed expectations in her contributions to the industry.
