Marshall Electronics has unveiled its latest product, the VS-PTC-300 PTZ camera controller, offering users the flexibility to manage multiple protocols seamlessly.
The controller is designed to handle NDI, RS232/RS422/RS485, IP, VISCA over IP, and ONVIF protocols, making it a versatile solution for a variety of setups.
Features
One of the standout features of the VS-PTC-300 is its ability to control multiple cameras simultaneously, whether they use the same or different protocols.
This functionality proves particularly advantageous when transitioning to a larger camera setup.
With the capability to manage up to seven RS232 cameras, fourteen RS422 cameras, and up to 255 NDI/IP cameras, the controller provides a robust solution for users with diverse camera needs.
Additionally, the NDI/IP discovery setup streamlines the process of integrating NDI/IP cameras.

The information display screen serves a dual purpose as a video monitor for NDI and RTSP streams.
Boren adds, “There is no need to type in the camera number before operating the camera; just select the camera button and you’re in control.”
Designed for seamless operation across multiple camera protocols within a single network, the VS-PTC-300 finds applications in live event production and content creation.
The controller boasts a high-quality PTZ joystick, professional zoom rocker, and individual fine-tune adjustment knobs, providing detailed control over various camera settings such as iris, white balance, exposure, red/blue, shutter speed, focus, pan/tilt speed, and zoom speed.
