Zero Density launches Reality 5.6 for broadcast graphics

Goodbye juggling tools – Reality 5.6 is here. Zero Density’s latest update adds Lino, unifying AR, XR, video walls and more in one smart, template-based workflow

Zero Density has announced the release of Reality 5.6, the latest update to its platform for virtual studio production and on-air graphics. At the heart of this release is the Lino workflow, which combines Unreal Engine’s Motion Design Mode for template-based graphics design with Reality Hub’s control capabilities.

Despite evolving broadcast demands, existing graphics tools haven’t been significantly updated. Broadcasters are often compelled to rely on multiple platforms for different types of graphics. Reality 5.6 aims to combat this complexity.

“With Reality 5.6, we’re delivering a solution that simplifies operations, speeds up graphics design and unlocks creative freedom for broadcasters everywhere,” said Baris Zavaroglu, CEO at Zero Density. “This is the first platform that enables users to work seamlessly with on-air graphics, AR, video walls and any other type of visual content broadcast productions require.”

Building on a platform that’s already delivered over 3 million hours of live content, Reality 5.6 enhances its offering with Lino. It lets motion graphics artists create broadcast graphics quickly using familiar tools like Unreal Engine 5 Motion Design with no coding required. A free Reality Hub LE edition is also available for commercial use, including essential modules like Lino playout and Template Builder.

Paid users can access Reality 5.6 through the customer portal, while Open Studio License Program users can download the distributions available to them from GitHub.
