CJP Broadcast opens media facility for Cinderford RFC
From live match coverage to coaching insights, CJP Broadcast’s new pitch-side media installation gives Cinderford RFC versatile, future-ready facilities

CJP Broadcast has completed a new media installation for Cinderford RFC in Gloucestershire. This upgrade is set to create a flexible production setup that supports match coverage, coaching analysis and the club’s growing programme of community events.
After Cinderford RFC approached CJP on improving its match recording capabilities and enhancing how it engages supporters, the club’s aims were vigorously reviewed. Following discussions, CJP provided a solution that would offer future value and room for further expansion.
The completed installation now includes two pitch-side PTZ cameras, an operated match camera, an interview camera, a dedicated media room and structured cabling designed to accommodate additional cameras. CJP also upgraded the clubhouse with a new projector, speakers, microphones and video matrix routing to support matchday presentations and community events.
Rob Beavis from Cinderford RFC is already seeing the benefits of this upgrade. “The new media room gives us the chance to review match footage straight after games, and there’s a lot of potential for interviews, features and coverage that show what’s happening around the club.”
Cinderford RFC is expanding the use of its upgraded facilities across the club, including increased coverage of its Women’s and Girls’ rugby teams and the introduction of other sports such as walking football. The club is also preparing to create a YouTube channel to showcase first-team fixtures, youth rugby and community events hosted on the new pitch.
This project follows wider developments at the ground, including the introduction of a new all-weather 4G pitch that has significantly increased activity across the club.
