Powersoft amplifies Elland Road

The platform powering public address systems at Leeds United's home ground

A trio of Powersoft amplifier platforms, led by multiple models from the mission-critical Ottocanali Series, is powering a public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) system at Elland Road stadium in Leeds. Complemented by Powersoft’s Unica and Mezzo Series amplifiers, it was delivered by Imperium Integration.

Elland Road’s uneven stands made consistent audio coverage a challenge. “Leeds United wanted to have a system that not only complied with modern safety legislation but also matched the club’s ambition to offer fans the best possible audio experience,” said Alan Inkster, managing director of Imperium Integration.

To meet these demands, 24 Ottocanali amplifiers, ranging from 4K to 12K models, power 18-30 Martin Audio Torus T1230 arrays across the stadium.
