Lucy Bronze Talks Autism and Football Diversity on Pluto TV

In the latest episode of Pluto TV’s Yellow Couch series, Lucy Bronze opens up about autism, diversity in football and her personal journey with the Lionesses

Pluto TV, a leader in ad-supported streaming television, has released the second episode in its Yellow Couch series. This release is part of the company’s collection of intimate conversations and exclusive stories with a star-studded celebrity cast. In the latest instalment, English footballer Lucy Bronze took centre stage.

While on the Yellow Couch, Bronze explored her childhood and the journey towards receiving a formal diagnosis for autism in her late twenties. She also shared how she uses her strength at mathematics regularly in football, for example in penalty shootouts where statistics can be highly useful.

The interview also looked at Bronze’s legacy and what is in store for the future. On being a national hero and a public figure, Bronze explained how she no longer feels pressure to avoid making mistakes, inspiring viewers and listeners.

“Diversity is one of the best things about the world – and it creates the most successful teams. You’ve got different ways of thinking because people have found solutions to life in different ways,” says Bronze.

All six episodes in the Yellow Couch interview series can be viewed exclusively on Pluto TV. Other guests in the series include sporting legends Patrice Evra and Ben Whittaker, alongside television personalities Kaya Scodelario, Charlotte Crosby and Ross Kemp.

The Yellow Couch series will be available to stream for free on pluto.tv
