NBC Sports teams up with Grass Valley for Winter Games
From live events to full streaming, NBC Sports and Grass Valley bring all the action of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics to viewers

For the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics, NBC Sports turns to Grass Valley for next-level production technology. This partnership aims to provide advanced infrastructure, routing, orchestration and frame rate conversion solutions for the Olympics in February and Paralympics in March.
Grass Valley’s technology will help bring the excitement from events in Italy directly to viewers across the USA. “Grass Valley has worked with NBC Sports for more than two decades, assisting NBC Sports’ production efforts at previous Olympics and other major international sports events in Europe, Asia and the Americas,” says Tim Canary, SVP of Engineering.
NBCUniversal’s programming for the 2026 Winter Games will follow a similar schedule to last year’s Summer Games. The best events will be shown live during the day, while the entire Olympics will be available to stream on Peacock. The Opening Ceremony from San Siro Stadium in Milan will also be presented on NBC and Peacock.
NBCUniversal is marking its 20th Olympic Games, holding USA media rights on all platforms through 2036. “With Alchemist, Orbit and the power of AMPP OS working together, backed by our leading infrastructure products and on-site support expertise, we’re enabling NBC Sports to deliver the scale, quality and reliability audiences expect across every screen,” concludes Jon Wilson, CEO of Grass Valley.
